Kapture NOLA’s eyes were in Africa this past month. Its nice to get a perspective of Africa, other than the normal Brush shots we get on the news. Mauritius ,officially the Republic of Mauritius, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 1,200 miles off the southeast coast of the African continent. The country includes the island of Mauritius, Rodrigues 350 miles east, the islands of Agalega and the archipelago of Saint Brandon. The religion with the most members are the Hindus, followed by Roman-Catholics second, and Muslims third.
