Effective 31 October 2026. Kapture NOLA is a New Orleans photography and video studio. This policy explains what we collect through kapturenola.com and when you book with us, why, who we share it with, and your choices. We do not sell or rent personal information.
What we collect
- Contact and booking forms: your name, email, phone number, the session or project you ask about, dates, and anything you write in the message.
- Clients: what we need to plan, deliver and bill your session (contact details, session details, invoices). Payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Your photos and video: images from your session are private to you. We never publish, post or use an identifiable image of you (including boudoir work) in our portfolio, social media or advertising without your written permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time for future use.
- Website visits: see “Analytics” and “Visits, cookies and advertising measurement” below.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, schedule and deliver your session, send invoices and gallery links, keep business and tax records, improve our site, and send marketing only if you agreed to it (every email has an unsubscribe link).
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our website, email, online galleries and payments, only to provide that service to us.
- Google, for Google Analytics (below).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell your information or share it with data brokers.
Analytics
Our site uses Google Analytics, which sets Google cookies and sends Google the pages you view, the referring site, an approximate location and device details, so we can see how the site is used (Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy; opt out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). We also run Matomo analytics on our own server, and a cookie-free page counter; neither shares data with anyone else.
Visits, cookies and advertising measurement
Kapture NOLA runs its own first-party visit log on kapturenola.com. It sets one cookie, hs_vid (a random ID, kept for up to 2 years), and records the pages you view, the page that sent you here, campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source or an ad click ID from Google, Meta, TikTok or Microsoft), your IP address, browser, device type, language and screen size.
We use this only to run and improve our site, understand which of our posts and ads work, serve customers and send marketing you have agreed to. We do not sell or rent it, we do not buy data about you from data brokers, and we do not use services that try to identify anonymous visitors. The log is stored on our own server and is not shared with advertising platforms.
Your choices: if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we set no cookie and keep no IDs, IP address or click IDs for your visit; it is only counted. Visitors browsing from European time zones are treated the same way. Visit records are deleted after 24 months, and customer records after 36 months without activity. To get a copy of what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email [email protected].
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months. Client records and invoices: as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years). Session images: kept in our archive so we can re-deliver them unless you ask us to delete them. Website visit records: 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for any use of your images, by emailing [email protected] or calling (504) 444-4429. We answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Sessions with minors are booked by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.
